East Main Street Bypass Improvement Project

The final design and construction of the Package #2 improvements are tentatively scheduled to occur in 2007-2008; however, the complete funding for this package has not been secured by the City of Klamath Falls at this time. Package #2 includes the following road improvements:

• Provide improvements for the East Main Street Bypass between South 6th Street and Washburn Way. This new roadway will maintain single travel lanes in both directions, along with bike lanes and a two-way left-turn lane within the median area.
• Address the alignment of Crosby Avenue & Maywood Street intersection with the bypass, as well as the improvements required at the Washburn Way/Crosby Avenue intersection. As part of these improvements, the Crosby Avenue/Washburn Way intersection will be modified to provide an eastbound right-turn lane and northbound dual left-turn lanes.
