Brandon Nevers, PE, PTOE

Principal Engineer

Bln Brandon Nevers is a Principal Engineer in KAI’s Reston, Virginia office. He has over 15 years of experience in traffic operations and design, long-range planning, pedestrian safety, parking, and applied research. Mr. Nevers has led and contributed to traffic operations analysis and simulation studies, intersection design/feasibility studies, neighborhood plans, corridor studies, and comprehensive plan updates for local, regional, and state transportation agencies. He has served as a principal investigator and senior researcher for projects in the NCHRP, FHWA, and SHRP 2 research programs. In these projects Mr. Nevers has managed research teams, led focus group discussions, co-authored guidebooks, and overseen the management of research contracts. He has taught courses and workshops for State DOTs and has guest lectured for universities. He is a member of TRB’s Operational Effects of Geometrics committee and is co-chair of TRB’s Intersection Joint Subcommittee. He currently serves as KAI's Reston Office Manager.
