Kittelson
You are not a large company, yet your staff represents nearly twenty nations? How does that translate? ...It translates into the Kittelson Family.

Wow!! It is great fun! We are a multi-national, dynamic group of professionals from all over the world and the United States. We get to learn about different approaches to transportation from different cultures, while also learning about different day-to-day approaches to collaborating and getting work done.

Employing people from all over the world is consistent with our goals of continual growth and learning throughout every individual's career. All of us are open to considering perspectives different from our own and finding ways to implement the best elements of these differences. These differences could relate to technical problem solving, types of transportation solutions, or expectations for communication at a project meeting.

We all work to create a comfortable, familial, respectful work environment founded on trust. Trusting our colleagues means having faith in the knowledge that we are all working to do the best we can for our firm and for each other. We strive to be respectful and embrace our collective and individual perspectives on work and life.

Personally, one of my favorite elements of our multi-national staff is learning about different cultures. I enjoy learning everything from the simplest story of daily life to more complex stories of political climate, or travels to the United States for education and work. These stories tell me so much about the person and reinforce the idea that the world is really a small place—and that achieving peace and understanding begins at home.
