Andrew Ooms, PE
Andrew has worked on a variety of traffic engineering and transportation planning projects in the public and private sectors. His experience includes intersection and corridor multimodal operational analysis using both Highway Capacity Manual methods and microsimulation tools. Andrew has developed long-range transportation plans and interchange area management plans for local jurisdictions. Andrew has conducted safety screening and countermeasure identification at the city, corridor, and intersection levels and contributed to the production of the first edition of the Highway Safety Manual. He has evaluated transit service and operations as well as transit and truck signal priority. His design experience includes traffic signal plans and preliminary design of roundabouts and roadway sections. He has also conducted numerous traffic impact analyses throughout Oregon, Washington, and Alaska including site plan review, access management, and traffic management plans.
