Shaun Quayle, PE
Shaun brings ten years of experience and knowledge in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) engineering and planning, traffic signal system design and operations, simulation modeling, transit / truck signal priority, real-time performance measurement systems and applied national reach in ITS operations and safety. Shaun has managed ITS planning and operations analysis projects for ODOT in the recent past, in the Eugene-Springfield & Portland Metro areas. Shaun has been a task lead and senior resource on a wealth of ITS / TSMO projects in Oregon, including specializing in applications with 2070 & Northwest Signal (NWS) Voyage control logic. He has experience working with several planning, operations, and design-related software programs such as VISUM, VISSIM, Synchro, HCS, Auto-CAD, as well as hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop simulation applications.Shaun actively participates in the Portland’s Transport ITS subcommittee, NWS Voyage Users Group, PORTAL advisory committee, and is a friend of the signal systems committee within the National Academy of Science’s Transportation Research Board.
