Tyrone Scorsone is a Senior Transportation Planner with a strong focus on performance measures and data analysis. Tyrone has participated in projects throughout the country and is known for his dedication to client service and focus on innovative solutions. Tyrone’s experience working with state transportation agencies allows him a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist for state DOTs. For the past few years, he has also worked with MPO’s on performance measures to evaluate the quality and utilization of their infrastructure. Since 2012 Tyrone has served on the Highway Capacity Quality of Service Committee. In this role, he has applied new research to address a variety of transportation challenges. Tyrone is skilled in working with datasets to calculate metrics and assess trends for freight and non-automobile modes . This is evident through his work products such as FDOT’s Multimodal Performance Measures Source Book.
