Andrew Butsick

Andrew has experience in working on a multitude of projects throughout the United States and maintains a diversified workload to foster development and proficiency in a wide range of technical areas. His breadth of work includes: national safety, planning, and policy research; functional roadway design; corridor and intersection safety studies; roundabout and alternative intersection design; and transportation impact studies. He has supplemented his professional experience with the pragmatic use of modeling and design software, including Highway Capacity Software, Synchro/SimTraffic, SIDRA, and AutoCAD/Microstation. While attending Pennsylvania State University, Andrew researched methodologies to integrate geometric design consistency into predictive safety modeling and enhance model estimation efficiency through neoteric statistical methods.
