Robyn Austin

Robyn is a public involvement professional who specializes in the design and implementation of decision-making strategies and policies for transportation engineering and planning projects. She has wide-ranging experience in facilitating transportation projects where consensus building, public engagement, and multi-agency decision making are critical to success. Robyn regularly facilitates plans to engage and connect stakeholders and the public from concept to implementation using a wide array of tools and techniques. She has led public involvement efforts throughout the United States, including in Florida, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, and Alaska. Robyn currently serves on TRB’s Public Involvement committee.

While not working, Robyn’s passion is biking. You can usually find her mountain biking the foothills of Boise, biking her son to school, or volunteering at local biking non-profits and events. She is an active volunteer with Boise Bicycle Project, Idaho Walk Bike Alliance, and Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance.
