Shi has participated in a variety of transportation projects at Kittelson. He has experience in design traffic studies, operational analysis, spatial analysis using GIS, and traffic data analytics. Shi obtained his master’s degree in transportation and highway engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Shi has over two years of academic research experience in Dynamic Traffic Assignment (DTA) models, road pricing, and optimization. He is familiar with programming languages, including C/C++, R, Python, and Matlab. He also has practical knowledge of several transportation-related software packages, including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Synchro/SimTraffic.
