ACTC/ACCMA Countywide Model Update
For the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency (CMA), now Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC), KAI developed (2006), revised (2008) and updated (2010) the Alameda Countywide Travel Demand Model, most recently to be consistent with the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) Projections 2009. The current update compiled each jurisdiction’s individual land use forecasts and reconciled them with the ABAG county control totals. KAI also updated all road improvement assumptions and added analysis of truck volumes and regional capacity constraints. The P09 model is currently being applied for all City of Hayward and City of San Leandro traffic studies.
