Bridgeport Village Traffic Design

Washington County selected a developer to construct retail improvements on the former quarry site along Bridgeport Road in Tualatin, Oregon. As part of this project, KAI completed a comprehensive traffic analysis that identified the need for more than $8 million in off-site transportation infrastructure, including improvements to the adjacent I-5 interchange. These improvements were incorporated into the development agreement for the site. KAI developed the final plans, special provisions, and cost estimate for three new traffic signals at the site access driveways, traffic signal interconnect along the site frontage, and project coordination. KAI also worked closely with the civil/traffic engineering firm retained to complete all of the off-site road improvements. The consultant team led the project team including agencies and stakeholders through a challenging, modified design-build process.
