College Road Corridor Study
KAI is working with Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities and Fairbanks Metropolitan Area Transportation System to perform a corridor study for College Road in Fairbanks, Alaska. KAI established a long-range plan for the corridor through the identification of safety improvements that considered access and mobility for all transportation modes (vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles and transit) that reflect the range of uses of the roadway. KAI developed corridor alternatives in conjunction with a stakeholder’s group, open houses, and public comments. The project team solicited public feedback through the implementation of an interactive map website.
