SHRP 2 Project L03: Analytic Procedures for Determining Impacts of Reliability Mitigation Strategies

KAI was part of a team determining the effects of geometric, demand, and operational characteristics on travel time reliability. KAI led the task to develop analytic models of travel time reliability related to various mitigation measures such as capacity additions, ITS, ramp metering, and service patrols. The product was an analytic tool that highway planners and engineers can use to determine the effects of various improvements on travel time reliability.
