University of Alaska, Anchorage Campus Master Plan

KAI was part of a multi-disciplinary consultant team that prepared a facilities master plan for the University of Alaska, Anchorage Campus. The team reviewed the existing buildings, utilities, housing, and transportation system to determine the needs for the campus with the expected student and program growth during the next ten years.

KAI prepared the transportation system analysis, which included examination of the parking supply and demand, roadway connectivity, the Seawolf bus shuttle system, and pedestrian movements on the campus. KAI also prepared an analysis of future trip and parking generation scenarios for the campus, as the resident student population is expected to increase with new housing opportunities.
