A roundabout is a circular intersection with yield control on all approaches, islands to separate flows of traffic from eachother and pedestrians, and geometric features to slow down traffic.

Why Roundabouts?

Roundabouts have many benefits over stop-controlled and signalized intersections. They have proven safety benefits, often have lower delays, can lead to less traffic, can reduce the need for widening, reduces speeds in and around the roundabout, and as a result can benefit the surrounding community.
