Bincy holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering from the University of Kerala. Her graduate academic research covered topics ranging from improving pedestrian and bicycle access, improving last mile connectivity, travel demand modelling, and traffic impact studies to preparing planning documents like the metropolitan transportation plan for Anderson, Indiana Metropolitan Planning area. Prior to joining Kittelson, Bincy worked at Madison County Council of Governments, Indiana, which also served as her client for her graduate program capstone project. For the project, Bincy analyzed spatial accessibility to healthcare for a region in Indiana. Bincy’s passion is making transportation more accessible, sustainable, and equitable for all through innovative planning and engineering solutions, and she is a huge proponent of transit. Outside of work, Bincy is usually at the gym or enjoying taekwondo, karate, hiking, and choir singing. Having grown up in Bahrain as a third culture kid, she loves to travel and appreciates different cultures and traditions.
