Kevin returned to his hometown and opened the Cincinnati, OH office in 2017. He has over 14 years of experience, focusing on multimodal signal systems and operations. He has led projects in planning, assessing, and designing for transit preferential treatments along urban corridors, including the implementation of Transit Signal Priority at over 200 intersections across six agencies within the Washington, DC region. He recently led the development of District Mobility, a multimodal system performance measurement and management project for the District DOT. He is also a lead researcher for NCHRP 03-122 (Performance-Based Management of Traffic Signals) and was a major contributor to the Traffic Signal Timing Manual.
Kevin graduated from Purdue University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering. He is a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Traffic Signals Committee and the TRB Regional Transportation Systems Management and Operations Committee.
