Michael Ruiz-Leon

Engineering Associate/Planner (he/him)

Michael is a transportation professional who is passionate about helping create equitable, safe, and multimodal transportation networks. As a generalist, Michael has experience in multimodal transportation planning, traffic operations, and conceptual and final geometric design. Michael’s project experience includes traffic impact studies for residential and commercial developments, conceptual design for intersections and roadway corridors, ADA compliant ramp design for roadway improvement projects, and transit master plans. Michael is involved with the Oregon Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) as the membership chair. Outside of work, Michael enjoys drinking kombucha, organizing trivia outings, and cheering for the Utah Jazz.
