Rachael Alberts

Rachael grew up in Oakland riding BART and AC Transit most places she went, piquing her interest in the transportation industry. She recently graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Urban Studies and Planning, interning as a transportation planner in the public and private sectors along the way. Some recent projects she has worked on include a Land Use and Transit Integration Study, Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plans, and a Border Master Plan all in the San Diego region. Rachael is interested in expanding her skillset further into data analysis, visualization and GIS. Outside of work, Rachael volunteers for the Sunrise Movement Bay Area  and as a tutor for the Oakland Unified School District. For fun, Rachael likes to play guitar, paint, do home improvement projects, and obsess about permaculture.
