On February 19, 2020 we gathered to dialogue about environmental justice through a webinar with Veronica McBeth. Veronica talked about:
- The harm inflicted upon minorities, low-income, rural, and tribal populations through disproportionate exposure to elements in their environments that disparately impact health and quality of life.
- National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Title VI regulations and how they are used in relation to environmental justice issues.
- The EJ 2020 Action Agenda (EJ 2020), EPA’s strategic plan for advancing environmental justice from the years 2016-2020; and what needs to happen next.
