Spring/Summer 2019 Workshops Through the Transportation Research Board
From April 9 to August 15, 2019, the Transportation Research Board is offering reduced price workshops on signal timing at diverging diamond interchanges (DDIs), led by Kittelson’s Bastian Schroeder, Kevin Lee, and Alison Tanaka.
Kittelson worked with North Carolina State University on Guidance for Traffic Signals at DDIs and Adjacent Intersections (NCHRP 3-113), and we’ll be sharing our findings and methodologies at these one-day workshops in Raleigh, Columbus, Reno, Salt Lake City, Gainesville, Philadelphia, Shoreview, and Jefferson City. Topics include applications and challenges using various phasing schemes, corridor considerations and strategies for efficient operations, signal equipment considerations, and example case studies.
These workshops are meant for traffic engineers with experience in traffic signal timing—no prior DDI experience is necessary. Attendees will earn 8 PDHs.
Participation is limited to the first 25 registrations received per session, so we encourage you to secure your spot!
