Alisa Karesh

From the Bay Area, Alisa graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and minors in data science and geography. There, she spent time with the ITE student chapter, participating in competitions and teaching planning concepts to their peers as the Planning Lead in her final year. Alisa also worked as a GIS Assistant for the Statewide Database and was an Assistant Researcher for the Urban Displacement Project. Prior to interning with Kittelson in the Orange office, Alisa interned with the NYC DOT. They are particularly passionate about active transportation and public transit, and are excited to learn more about all facets of the transportation industry. Outside of work, most of her free time goes toward learning tattooing, but she also enjoys going on photo walks, participating in an urban sketching group, and hiking and camping.
