David Laurens

With over 15 years of international experience, David has contributed to impactful infrastructure and multimodal mobility projects across Latin America and the United States. Grounded in civil engineering and project management, he specializes in transportation modeling, traffic simulation, demand and revenue forecasting, public transit planning, and multimodal mobility strategies. His portfolio encompasses a diverse range of initiatives, such as toll corridor analyses, urban mobility studies, and traffic impact assessments. He has led multidisciplinary teams in developing data-driven solutions for public transit system restructuring, urban development and revitalization areas, pedestrian flow simulations, and determinations of user value of time. Skilled in leveraging geospatial tools and advanced data analysis techniques, he informs planning and design decisions with a focus on practical, context-sensitive solutions. Outside of work, David enjoys hiking with his family and soaking up the Southern California sunshine at the beach. He is currently learning to grill, mastering the fine art of not setting dinner on fire.
