Doreen loves travel and is always excited to explore how transportation systems help shape the public spaces of the various cities she visits. She received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cornell University. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, she earned her master’s degree in transportation engineering from UC Berkeley. As a Transportation Analyst in Kittelson’s Oakland office, Doreen is passionate about integrating engineering approaches with data-driven methods to understand transportation challenges and find the best solutions for local communities. Before joining Kittelson, she was involved in research projects where she visualized large-scale mobility data and developed web applications to aid decision-making and outreach. When not Doreen is not working, she can be found wandering around theme parks, practicing ukulele, and people watching.
