Erika Adams

Transportation Analyst

An avid walker and transit user, Erika believes transportation systems should make everyday life safer, easier, and more enjoyable, and that a thriving city is one where children can move independently and safely through their communities. She applies this perspective through operational analysis, conceptual design, and public engagement, supporting projects that balance technical rigor with human-centered outcomes. She has experience evaluating multimodal networks; analyzing intersection and corridor performance; and developing strategies for pedestrian, bicycle, and transit improvements. Erika excels at identifying what complex technical data truly means for people’s everyday experiences, translating analysis into actionable solutions, and collaborating with communities and agency partners to create streets and crossings that feel intuitive and welcoming for all users. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new coffee shops and cuisines, and listening to music.
