Erin Phillips
Transportation Analyst (she/her)

Erin earned a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she specialized in transportation and land-use planning. She centered her academic work on the intersections of these subfields and their collective impact on today’s transportation landscape. While originally from the Caribbean, Erin’s interest in transportation planning was shaped by her experiences living in a variety of countries, where she encountered a wide range of transportation infrastructure and planning approaches. With these global perspectives, she gained a nuanced understanding of how transportation strategies vary across different contexts. Outside of work, Erin can regularly be found museum hopping, attending city festivals and events, or at the beach.
