Mandia Gonzales

Mandia believes streets should bring people together, not keep them apart. With over a decade of experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, she shapes policies and plans for local, regional, and state agencies that put people first. Mandia’s passion for cities was sparked at Portland State University, where she earned her master’s in urban planning with a heavy focus on active transportation. Today, she channels that energy into Vision Zero initiatives and seamless first- and last-mile connections, working to ensure every trip by car, foot, bike, transit, or scooter is safe, joyful, and equitable. When she isn’t transforming street networks, you can find her racking up high scores on local pinball machines or curating the perfect Spotify playlist made entirely of songs about transportation.
