Transportation Analyst (he/him)

Michael Kolimago

Michael graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a minor in energy studies. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Michael’s interest in transportation and planning was inspired by a family move to Melbourne, Australia, where he attended high school. Living in a walkable, mixed-use environment and using the city’s extensive tram system every day fostered a desire to learn more about how sustainable development and transportation infrastructure can be supported back home in the United States. He further developed his interest through coursework and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) projects, in addition to a 2025 summer internship with Kittelson where he gained experience with roadway design, impact analysis, safety, and other areas of transportation planning and engineering. Outside of work, Michael enjoys reading, watching sci-fi movies, swimming, and traveling with family and friends.
