Nemanja is an engineering associate primarily focusing on traffic operations and management. He has a Bachelor and Master of Science in transportation engineering from the University of Belgrade (Serbia), a Master of science in civil engineering from Florida Atlantic University, and a PhD in transportation engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Nemanja worked on multiple projects sponsored by Florida DOT, NCHRP, and US Department of Energy (DOE). He uses PTV Vissim, PTV Vistro, HCS, Synchro, TruTraffic, Python, and VBA. In his research, Nemanja explored various aspects of traffic signal control, such as signal timing optimization, adaptive traffic signal control, traffic signal performance measures, environmental impact of traffic signal control, and the use of emerging data sources to improve signal operations. Besides transportation, Nemanja is passionate about music, traveling, art, hiking, and cooking.
