Pavithran earned his master’s degree in city and regional planning from Rutgers University, where he also obtained a transportation certificate. As a research assistant at the Vorhees Transportation Center, Pavithran focused on county-level active transportation and safety projects and gained experience working with multiple planning commissions and transit agencies.  Pavithran is interested in approaching and understanding transportation needs from a community perspective and creating data-driven solutions that create sustainable, safe communities. Outside of work, Pavithran enjoys watching and playing outdoor sports, especially soccer. He also loves travelling, biking, and hiking.
