Transportation Analyst

Poppy joined Kittelson in October 2022 after graduating from the University of Florida, where she received her doctoral degree in urban and regional planning and a minor in statistics. Her interests in transportation include transportation equity and affordability, travel behavior analysis, data analytics/visualization, the connection between transportation and land use, multimodal planning, and transportation safety. Poppy is proficient in identifying and spatially presenting trends in transportation data, and then translating the trends/patterns into planning suggestions, through tools such as R, SPSS, and ArcGIS. She also received rigorous training in applying qualitative analysis techniques to understand community and regional transportation needs.
