Sam is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, earning a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He became excited about transportation during a study abroad course in the Netherlands, where he studied bicycle infrastructure, multimodal connections, and community mobility. Internship experiences in municipal engineering and construction services have helped Sam gain insight into the industry, and his interest areas include active transportation, transit, and planning. Outside of work, Sam enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including biking, fishing, hiking, and camping. After growing up in the Midwest, he is excited to explore all that Idaho has to offer.
