Spencer Maddox

Spencer joined Kittelson after completing a master’s degree in civil engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. His thesis focused on improving pedestrian safety by using automated video detection to identify pedestrian-vehicle conflicts. Within transportation, Spencer’s passions include safety, transit, bike and pedestrian facilities, traffic operations, and data analysis. He enjoys analyzing and visualizing data using GIS and mining big datasets with Python. Outside of work, Spencer likes to play video games, read, watch sports, travel, and explore the urban environment.
