Tianxin Shen

Transportation Analyst (She/Her)

Tianxin Shen completed a master’s degree in mechanical engineering at Duke University in 2021. During her time at Duke, she used her skills of analysis, design, and programming working in the Human and Autonomy Lab led by Professor Missy Cummings. Tianxin continued her research assistant role in the HAL with Professor Missy Cummings, where she was involved in transportation software development, prototype, and product innovation. In addition to programming and algorithm development, she has experience in several traffic and transportation-focused projects using microsimulation analysis. Before beginning a career in transportation, Tianxin interned with Apple in Shanghai and had exposure to the realm of design with CAD and graphics preparation. Outside of work, Tianxin enjoys fishing, and arts and design.
