Tim Duong
Transportation Analyst (he/him)
Tim sparked his passion for transportation when he learned how freeing up long commute times can lead to long-term increases in happiness that even surpass having a bigger home or higher-paying job. Growing up in Texas, he experienced firsthand how car dependency can lengthen travel times and affect communities. Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering after having taken classes in roadway, railway, and public transportation engineering. Now, he is eager to apply all that he’s learned to improve the lives of community members and increase transportation diversity. He hopes to shorten commutes using designs that encourage a wide variety of transportation modes. During his free time, Tim can be found exploring the art galleries in his new home of Philadelphia and trying (with mixed results) to learn photography.
