Tristan Gallagher

Transportation Analyst (he/him)

Originally from Central Texas, Tristan earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Carroll College. During his time there, he participated in an Engineers Without Borders project in rural Guatemala, where he helped design shear walls to structurally reinforce a local school. Tristan developed skills in hydraulic modeling and road design through multiple internships. He also gained experience in budgeting and project management during his senior design project, where he collaborated with a team to develop a cap-and-cover system for the Bureau of Land Management. The project aimed to prevent acid mine drainage from contaminating a local water table in Perry Canyon, Nevada. Passionate about sustainable infrastructure and community-centered design, Tristan is eager to contribute to projects at Kittelson that promote resilience and public safety. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, running, traveling, and reading.
