Position Summary

If you are a passionate marketing professional seeking to work on strategic, winning pursuits, please consider applying for our marketing coordinator position. This position will involve the following responsibilities:

  • Working with project teams to develop strategies for pursuits, client capture plans, and go/no-go process
  • Supporting and leading proposal development and managing the process through delivery including:
  • Analyzing RFP requirements to create checklists and outlines
  • Developing internal schedules for proposal delivery and helping team members stay on-track
  • Drafting general and customized staff descriptions and resumes, project descriptions, and firm information
  • Completing forms
  • Composing strategic content, such as win themes and value propositions
  • Designing and completing layout out proposal content in InDesign and Word
  • Collaborating with internal staff and teaming partners on interview presentations
  • Reviewing final marketing materials (editing, proofreading, etc.)
  • Preparing simple graphics as needed (organizational charts, schedules, flow charts, etc.)
  • Creating and maintaining marketing materials (resumes, project descriptions, etc.)
  • Updating our database (Deltek Vantagepoint) with staff and project data
  • Participating in office and regional marketing and business development meetings and discussions
  • Collaborating with the marketing team regarding proposal workload, marketing/business development activities and materials, and information sharing of best practices

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Writing skills and the ability to convey a compelling story for each pursuit
  • Highly organized, analytical, deadline-driven, and demonstrates exceptional follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Client focused (internal and external)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (English, marketing, communications, technical editing, writing, or similar degree) preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the production of custom proposals for public agencies
  • Experience in A/E/C industry
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or equivalent software proficiency

The compensation range for this position is $65,000-$90,000, which includes the 401K contribution noted above. Placement in range depends on experience level and office location within the firm.
