Darren is passionate about working on roadway improvements that result in beneficial community outcomes. As a roadway engineer and skilled project manager, he has led integrated multidisciplinary teams on urban retrofit roadway projects, ADA improvements, arterial design, rail crossing upgrades, utility improvements (public and private), pavement rehabilitation, site civil grading and design, trail design, estimating, and development of bidding documents. He makes sure all tasks are completed in the appropriate sequence to maintain project schedules, control costs, and leverage the collective expertise of the team to generate constructable solutions. He guides teams through all phases of a project, from concept design through final design and construction.
