Diego has extensive experience leading the analysis and management of transportation engineering and planning projects. He has worked closely with both public agencies and private clients to provide strategic solutions to complex, multi-jurisdictional projects, while communicating with stakeholders and the public. Although he is based out of Portland, Oregon, Diego supports various regional offices. He has delivered large-scale planning efforts and transportation studies, securing development approvals for park, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use projects at local, regional, and national levels. In addition to his project work, Diego is committed to giving back to the profession. He leads senior capstone programs as a university partner, mentors emerging professionals, and frequently contributes to technical presentations across the industry. Diego also holds leadership roles in the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Westside Economic Alliance (WEA), helping advance collaboration, innovation, and professional development across the field.
