Jade is a passionate planner who empowers communities by promoting safe and accessible transportation options. During her time at Colby College, Jade volunteered with the local community land trust and facilitated placemaking initiatives through actively participating in public engagement meetings during a downtown revitalization plan for her college town. Jade advocates for active transportation, pedestrian safety, and accessibility for all. Originally from Arkansas, Jade is always on the lookout for opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, such as hiking and rock climbing. She loves reading, writing, and creating art. She is also eager to learn new skills and hobbies whenever the mood strikes.
