Lauren Nuxoll

A native of Idaho, Lauren graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. While at Boise State, she was an active board member of the ASCE Student Chapter and was a member of the concrete canoe team, as well as the Women’s Club Soccer Team, Honors College, and BSU’s Club Sports Board.

Since joining Kittelson, Lauren has participated in a variety of projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her work includes managing transportation impact studies, traffic operations, signal design, signal timing, and concept design work for roadways, interchanges, and intersections.

Lauren is very involved in ASCE and helped start the ASCE Southern Idaho Section YMF. She also served on the Section Board. In 2021, Lauren was selected as one of ASCE’s Top Ten New Faces of Civil Engineering and in 2022, she was voted as ASCE SIS’s Civil Engineer of the Year. In 2023, Lauren was elected as a Region 8 Governor and looks forward to this new opportunity.

Lauren has a passion for volunteering in her community and being a leader to help create opportunities for others. She is on the Future City Idaho Steering Committee, Treasure Valley Sports League Board, and teaches Sunday School at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing soccer, kickball, basketball, contact flag football, and softball. When not on the field or cheering on Boise State football, you’ll find her enjoying her home state’s outdoors through camping, hiking, rafting, or snowboarding with her husband, Marty.
