Shannon Warchol
Associate Engineer

Based out of Kittelson’s Wilmington office, Shannon is a Senior Engineer who has experience in applied research. Shannon has worked with local, state, and federal clients to develop solutions in multimodal safety and operations at the intersection, interchange, and policy levels with a special focus on alternative and innovative designs. During a recent sabbatical, Shannon worked with an autonomous vehicle firm and explored how the selection of various parameter thresholds would impact traffic operations. Shannon is a member of Transportation Research Board’s Geometric Design Committee and has received a Best Paper Award for her work on microscopic simulation of signal phasing at Diverging Diamond Interchanges. Outside of work, Shannon can be found avidly following Congress, the Supreme Court, and Notre Dame football.
