Amelia graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Before joining Kittelson, Amelia worked as a transportation consultant in the Washington, D.C., area on projects including the Buzzard Point master planned development, Georgetown University’s 2017-2036 Campus Plan, and the National Law Enforcement Museum. In working with private developers and institutions in the District of Columbia, Amelia gained an understanding of traffic operations on urban streets, such as evaluating multimodal interactions, considering intersection improvements, and forecasting traffic volumes. As a former speech and debate competitor, Amelia is excited to offer her communication skills to Kittelson’s transportation projects. A lover of all things eloquent, Amelia likes to spend her time reading, writing, finding new musicians on Spotify, and binge-watching The West Wing. If you are a fellow bibliophile, she’d love to hear your book recommendations!
