Liz Kaniecki

Liz graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Before starting with Kittelson, she worked in various disciplines of civil engineering, including construction, land development, and transportation. Liz is driven by her passion for creating a livable environment where people can easily access different modes of transportation and enjoy the communities in which they live. Her project experience includes highway maintenance and operations, traffic impact analysis, bikeway design, and planning; she’s especially excited to expand her background into more roadway design, data analytics, traffic signal design, and multimodal planning. Outside of work, Liz enjoys any outdoor activity, especially rock climbing, hiking, and sports in the summer along with skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Liz also enjoys staying indoors to hang out with friends, binge-watch Netflix shows, and read books of all genres.
