More than 70 Kittelson team members will be participating in the 105th Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting from January 11–15, 2026. We’re presenting on exciting topics this year, including how fare-free public transit policies impact transit usage and mode shift, experiences with mini and modular roundabouts, the benefits and pitfalls of consensus-based policy development, and strategies for balancing the business perspective and benefits of access management for user safety—just to name a few!

Will you be there too? If so, we hope you’ll join us at our workshops, committee meetings, poster sessions, and lectern sessions, all listed below.

Sunday, January 11

10:00 AM–2:00 PM

We’re excited to have booth B415 at TRB’s Careers in Motion Networking Fair! Stop by to chat with Kittelson team members, get to know our firm and values, and share why you’re excited about building your career in transportation.

More TRB 2025 Resources

If you can’t tell, we get pretty excited about TRB and transportation research. Here are a few additional tips and resources we’ve put together to help you make the most of the Annual Meeting:

We know how crowded lines for TRB coffee line and surrounding restaurants can get, so our Washington, D.C. office has put together a map of places near the Walter E. Washington Convention Center to eat and caffeinate—plus spots to socialize and exercise. View it here!
